How do you take your MWF?

How do you make your MWF lather-- creamy and fluffy or thick and almost like toothpaste?


I used to make a wetter MWF and enjoy the fluffiness, but as I got down to the end of my puck, I started making it a lot drier.

Whoa-- big difference. When MWF is whipped up to be really thick (stiff peaks, almost toothpaste-like), it really changes the experience.

1) It's way more protective.
2) It gives a much smoother glide.
3) It seems to shave a good bit closer.

I'm sure I'll use up the rest of my MWF a lot faster, but it sure is a nice experience with a thick mix.

All soaps, and especially MWF I like to get my lather as thick as possible, only enough water to ensure it doesn't dry out too fast. My experience is the same as yours, much smoother shave than with a watery lather.

Definitely THICK! With a drop of glycerin and a drop of bergamot essential oil...gives it just a slight citrus kick!

I prefer my MWF lather to be on the drier side, as well.

I face lather with MWF and like all soaps I face lather with I build it until I see a shine come from the soap.

It is at that point that I know it will perform the best for me
