How do you know if it's a plastic handle on the Super Adjustable?

I've been looking around for a Gillette Super Adjustable. I often hear not to get the one with the plastic base. Though, I don't know how to recognize it. Those that offer it on ebay certainly don't mention it.

So, how do I know??

The base plate is made of metal, the plastic part is the part who adjust the blade (There is a word for this but I can't remember)

My point is, how can I tell this from a picture on a posting? Can anybody give a specific example?

here, the black part under the base plate ( bottom base plate) is plastic/black...The other one is not

I don't think the plastic versus metal makes much of a difference to performance, and after 30+ years of use the plastic ones haven't broken yet so I'm guessing they're pretty sturdy. Personally, I wouldn't stress over it.

Thanks for the info, fellers. I had just heard it mentioned several times and didn't know how to distinguish. Thanks again!!
