How do I load this?

I've been waiting with great anticipation for my samples from the LA Shaving Soap company. They are here and smell great, but I have a problem:

How do I load this onto a brush?

Scoop about half of it out, and place it into a bowl and make lather, or apply it directly on your face and face lather. You can get two shaves from a sample like that.

Never mind. I just went at it with a brush in the normal way I load soap in a bowl. It loaded easily and in 30 seconds I had a good looking amount. It just exploded into a beautiful test lather. I wish I'd taken pictures, but I was busy cackling with glee.

How was the shave (please don't tell me you wasted that great lather)?

Yeah, the shave will have to wait for tomorrow--I shaved before I checked the mail, unfortunately.
