Hi gents,

I recently bought razors from ebay and it comes with this stone. The seller listed it as coticule and the picture on the listing looks yellowy. But when I received it, it looks more pale green than yellow. It is very hard and fine. Smells like my other coticule. But it has green / yellow slurry and not the usual white.

Is this a coticule? If so, what vein is it?

Any thoughts will be appreciated.

IMHO... from that photo it looks like a coti...

they range in color from salmon to green to pale pale yellow...

someone more knowledgeable than me will speak up but i say USE IT!! *(or better yet send it to me...)

All I got is camera off my iPhone. Are the pics not close up enough?

Btw, since it's quite thin and vary in thickness, I was thinking I should back it with something. What can I back it with and what glue should I use?

I'm not quite sure, but I think it's either very dark brown or black.

There is a spot on the other side where the dark patch is wider and there's this rust colored spot on it which I can kinda scratch.
