I have a branded Hoffritz Travel Razor with the standard Hoffritz white milk wash handle (read in a Hoffritz ad somewhere that it's plated "white nickel"=Tin/Cu/Zn) in a little hammered silver box. I recently acquired from a member a nearly identical travel razor in a nearly identical little hammered silver box but unbranded and with a regular nickel plated handle. Both are made in Germany. Without the Hoffritz branding or the Hoffritz milk wash handle I'm guessing the second razor is not a Hoffritz but might be some other Merkur made clone. Is there any way to figure out what it is?
