Just received my 12 shaving cream samples from the Shave Den. Out of the 12 I picked out Taylors Rose Cream first because of all the high praises on here. The best cream so far in my short shaving career! Beats C.O. Bigelow! Lathered nicely, provided great protection, and moisturizing. It smells like Old English Roses. What a killer cream! It has earned a permanent spot on my rotation.

Next up: Taylor Avocado.

I got tired of the Rose pretty quickly...just too strong of a scent for me.

The Avocado, on the other hand, is hands-down one of my favorites.

I shouldn't have used permanent. Current instead. It was my first exposure to premium shave creams. Excitement I guess.

I agree !! I have a tub of TOBS rose that I use from time to time. Works and smells extremely well !!

+1. The rose was nice for the first few shaves, but it got old quickly. I have found the same thing with all other rose creams and soaps I have tried. Some of them where so bad that they didn't make it past one shave.
