I have searched the site for any info and found none. I was at an antique store today and saw a Henckels 7 day set, the days spelled out on the thick edge of the blades (the spine?). The scales were cream colored (don't know what material). They were in a box with a slot for each razor. The blades were incredibly shiny and all seemed to be in perfect condition except that one had two little chips on the cutting edge.
The strange things are the following: there were no "twins" on the tang; I am pretty sure the tang was engraved "American Specialty Co" near or under the "Henckels"; on the reverse side of the tang it was engraved "5th Ave Hotel NY".
Anybody have any information? I am guessing I will be told to return to the store and get pictures, but I won't be able to for a few weeks.
Thank you!
