Having tried a few soaps and shaving creams, I thought I'd post a review of Hempz shave gel.
I have discovered that this product is virtually a gold standard for me when used with a DE razor to get a basically flawless shave.
Squeeze a bit on the fingertips and massage it thoroughly into the skin. I live in the southwestern U.S. desert, so the gel can dry out a bit if I take too long to shave. To remedy this I use a fingertip sprayer to ensure the applied areas stay sufficiently hydrated. It's slick and ensures the razor glides everywhere.
If you have seen this product and wondered if it works: It does, and very well at that (for me, at least). If you need a quicker option than lathering up a shave soap, it might be worth a look.
