Help with brush identification

Picked up this badger brush from an estate sale. The handle doesn't have any markings but appears to be made of wood and some fairly hefty metal. I'm hoping someone can help me either identify the maker or at least what type of badger hair it is (i.e. Best badger, maybe?)

No idea who made that one, sorry. As for the hair grade... different makers might call it "best", or "pure", or even "grey". Hair grading is not uniform: see Shave_Brush_Hair_Grades for examples.
