I've been using a Gillette Mach 3 Power razor four a few years now and i'm looking to switch completely to wet shaving. I've been using pre-shave oil, AOS Unscented Cream, AOS face balm, and a badger brush. Can anyone recommend a DE for me? I have rough course hair and the hair on my neck causes a lot of problems for me. The hair grows downward on the sides of my neck and sideways under my chin area. My skin gets very irritated from this when I shave. So any suggestions would be great. Also is there anywhere I can buy them in store or is ordering them online my only option? One more thing, how long should I use a blade for until I replace the cartridge and where can I get refills? Thanks in advance.

if you live near a mall with an Art of Shaving store you can handle one and buy a number of good merkur DEs.
