I can't go ATG on my moustache so I just go WTG and XTG with good results. I can also feel or hear stubble on my neck after three passes but it's DFS to near BBS. The smoothness from a cart is the hair being pulled then cut and falling below the surface. A source of ingrown hair for many people. I don't chase BBS as I don't want ingrown hair.

Well tried the Persona Platinums, they where slightly better
I always try setting 1 WTG and every blade has left ones behind and its not dense or thick
5 WTG - 5 XTG - 5 XTG (other direction) - 3 ATG - 1 ATG top lip Still hard to do top lip, but a good shave, better than past 2 blades and no cuts
Well tonight thought I would give the feathers a go
1 WTG - 1 XTG - 1 ATG - 1 ATG top lip much easier
All face neck is smoothiest ive ever had it, again no cuts
So, if a low setting and a Feather can archieve this, is there any razors out there people would recomend, either stainless steel or titanium (well depends on price)
I do like the adjustable but it just shows what a difference a blade can make
