Help a newbie identify Gillette, 3 piece tech?

It appears this is a 3 piece tech. I see stamps, O and 3. So this is from 1944 from one website I saw? (military production?)

Is the little blue case original?

Is there anything else I should know about it? It's super clean, but sadly I got a little a head of myself and purchased a Slim Adjustable, 40's SS black tip and a Fatboy off buying and trading so this one may have to go!

I am trying to learn how to identify these!

I think that it's a 1969 travel razor. And that case looks about right for the date, so it may be original. I've seen several with that handle and case.

It's not a war razor, unless the head was seriously mismatched with the rest of the kit.

As far as I know, No date codes till 1950.
That makes this a 1969.

These came in a wide variety of small travel cases, no reason to believe that it isn't original.

It's a 1969 Tech travel razor. Techs are excellent shavers, and what you have isn't particularly rare, so definitely experiment with it. If you like it, you might try a fat-handle Tech, which has a very similar head but shaves a little differently due to the meaty handle.

I believe the Tech was in production longer than any other Gillette design, so it must have been well liked. (and/or cheap to make!)
