Has Proraso Eucalyptus Oil and Menthol Cream changed AGAIN?

This spring our local big player in the drug store business, SDM, cleared out much of their Proraso line. Most notable was all the eucalyptus oil / menthol based creams, pre post shave cream, and after shave. They marked them down by about sixty percent till all was sold out.

Always seeking something new, preferably at a good price, when yesterday I dropped into SDM and they had Proraso eucalyptus and menthol back in stock and on sale again. Only the shave cream and soap bowl. No pre post cream or after shave. This time it was the new formula, but not the one that has been discussed on the forum. The box now has a clear statement of the change on it:

"NO PARABENS - NO SILICONS - NO MINERAL OILS - NO SLS - NO ARTIFICIAL COLORS"

Is this yet again a new product or have they just changed the packaging?

The entire Proraso line was reformulated around January 2012.

I have just received additional information regarding the new Proraso product line expected to be launched in the Spring, perhaps as early as April. In addition to the current green and white eucalyptus line there will be three complete lines,

A blue package for Aloe and Vitamin C

A red package for Sandalwood as pictured in the previous thread

A white package for Green Tea & Oatmeal

Each line will have a complete offering of cream, after shave, soap, pre-shave etc. same as the current collection, just in four different variants.

Formula Change: Proraso will change (gasp!!) to a Paraben free line and contain no Boric Acid either. I am told the new creams are currently already in use by Bigelow staff and is a bit softer.

This information comes direct to me by Bigelow staff who as I stated in my first thread monitor the board and have read the previous 8 page thread started initially.

Each line will launch at a different time as they become available with hopes being as early as April for the first variant, no promises by Bigelow as production is out of their hands.

There could be a different package than the photo I posted as I am told the photo depicted the European labeling. North America could have it’s own as FDA labeling requirements differ from E.U. Cosmetic labeling and naming of ingredients in addition to being in just English. Many European products have multi-language labeling for obvious reasons.
