Hard to ID razor blade -- any ID help appreciated

I received this blade some time ago as part of a sampler, and just got around to trying it out. I'm still at a complete loss as to what the name or origin of this blade is, however. The writing appears to me to possibly be Thai, but I'm not sure about that.

Anyone familiar with this bird-emblazoned mystery blade?

I can't attest as to the company that made this blade, but I can tell you that the text definitely looks Thai.

That's not Thai, it appears to be similar to Hindi, because the word on the front and on the blade looks very similar to the Hindi word for Heron, which makes sense, because it looks like a bird on the front of the package.
Maybe a similar dialect to Hindi, or a language influenced by Hindi (maybe Bengali, from Bangladesh?)

While I have never used one, I know what it is!

It is a Balaka carbon, made by the same company that makes the 7 AM and Sharp blades.

That is definitely a Balaka carbon. I also have one laying around that Gary from Shoeboxshaveshop.com tossed in as a bonus on a recent order. After reading a few reviews on this forum, I'm absolutely terrified to give this blade a try. It may be the only blade that I've seen where the reviews are universally negative.

Why?

Because it's rough, scrapes your face, and makes a Merkur look like a Feather in comparison in terms of sharpness, cutting ability, and smoothness of the resulting shave.

Really, that was the worst shave I've had since the last multi-blade cartridge shave, on its second straight week trying to save money on cartridges.

In short, it sucks.

Pretty package, though.
