Hair Conditioner for Beard

So, I was thinking….
Assuming it’s a high-quality product from the likes of Truefitt & Hill or comparable, is there any reason to stick with things marketed specifically for beards?

beard oil as a conditioner, beard wax to both condition and control. I don't think you need any special conditioner, just select either an oil or wax (no need for both). I use a wax because my beard sticks out like a dandelion without it
