I am just surprised that a company like Thater that has a reputation of making premium brushes, would make some brushes that seem the quality control was lacking. Especially at the price range of these.

As a matter of fact I sent back two Thater boar brushes with the 4125 handle because the knot was lopsided or not shaped properly, finally I got a third brush and it was right. While I have never had a problem with the Thater badgers, the quality control with the boars was nowhere to be found...
