Groom and Clean Hairdressing- Fantastic Product!!

I recently went back to using this product, it is such a great value for the price. I like it because it holds classic styles well and you can recomb it throughout the day without it drying out like Gels do. its perfect for the classic mad men parted styles as well like mine. My barber now uses it as well. These are pictures taken after my barber used it for my cut. It is such a great product and it will also wash out with water and not build up like pomades do. We used about a quarter sized dab here, use more if you want that really slicked down, high shine 50s style or use less for a somewhat dryer look. It works best when applied to slightly damp hair.

I use just a touch of Groom and Clean to tame my fly away dry hair. I grew up in the Wed Head is Dead era, so I use almost nothing on my hair... a little less than the Brylcreem dab will do me.

I normally used just the VO5 stuff than comes in the tube when I used anything. I have picked up some G&C though, I'll be seeing how I like it. Only had a chance to use it once, I'm not sure if I need even the mild hold but I'm going to give it a shot.

I've heard of that era, the good ole 70's... Yeah I get a bit of flack now and then, slick comments etc... there's just something I really dig about the clean cut, slick look...

G&C is a the tops in hair dressings. Every now and then I try something else just to see what's out there but I have, so far, always come back to G&C. Mike is right when it comes to the old styles and shiny slick look which is what I sport every day, and have for most of my life (and nearly all of my life out of High School). It is not like the stuff of really old (even though it was introduced in the 60's): it's not greasy but it has a great shine (doesn't even feel greasy to the touch). It's not gummy because it washes right out with water. In fact, every night I wash it out before bed with just a rinse from the hand-held shower head. It's easy as pie and actually removes build up from other products with repeated use. It also has great hold for being a medium that never really dries completely. It's dirt cheap, mass produced, available almost everywhere and smells great. I haven't found anything that's as good.

Use it in good health and good grooming!

Chris

P.S. Every now and then I switch up just to try something else. It always reminds me why G&C is my favorite.

I've started using Groom & Clean. This stuff really is good. And a big plus for me is the fact that so far it hasn't broken my scalp out yet. Brylcreem on the other hand did.

To the OP. Nice haircut!

Groom & Clean is very good except the scent is too strong. Suave would sell way more if they just toned down the scent. I like G&C much better than Brylcreem which is greasy.

BTW: Great hair cut.

Thank you Noah, I have a fantastic barber, who takes his time and does a great job. yeah, my girl friend thinks the scent is too strong too. I'm sticking with the G&C though, it leaves my hair feeling really soft when I wash it out, which is only when I shower. I had a guy tell me the other day that the "wet head" is dead, but for every comments I get like that, i get 4 others that really dig it.

It is a classic style. Don't worry about the haters.

I use G&C religiously, it washes out so easily, and if your hair gets out of place you just add some water. Its brilliant!
