Green Russians

I just ordered fifty green Russian Gillette 7 OClock blades from this feller on ebay
At that price it is cheaper than the Korean blades from Dollar General so I figure I will try them out and if I like them I will order a larger amount.
Do any of you shave with the Russian Green blades?

I use them they are my go to blade sharp but not too sharp. In my mind they are like Derby blades but smoother

I liked them slightly less than Derby, Feather and BlueBird blades in my feather portable. Just tested them in my Flaretip and they didn't do so well, pulled my whiskers more than sliced them.

I thought about buying some of the Vietnamese Gillette Super Thin blades but it seems all the sellers for them are based in Indonesia and I am leery of buying from international sellers They look cool with the picture of King Gillette on the boxes.

The Green Gillette Seven O'Clock Super Stainless are my favorite blade so far: they are the smoothest blades I have found.

I ordered 100 of the Asian Super Thins from Dridiot here yesterday, he seemed like a straight up guy and let me have a good deal on the pricing. Can't wait to get the blades and try them in my Super Speed. The nostalgia factor on top of the shave will be cool

For me the yellow packs are better than the green and the Russian platinum's are better than the yellows. They of course cost more too but life is short! I could do without the glue spots though.

That guy has some nice sampler packs...a bit pricey for 30/40 blades but a great selection.

His bulk buys look very good.

First shave with the Gillette 7 OClock Super Stainless from Russia and I was impressed enough for the price.
The initial shave was better and smoother than the WM Personna's I have used and I would rate it about the same as the shave I got from the old Schick blades which Wal-Mart carried ten years ago.
Now I await the Thai Super Thins which have an even COOLER package with a pic of King Gillette on it That will be the next blade I test.

I believe these blades are a great bargain.
