In my search for the perfect lather bowl, I had drawn a complete zero. I searched the house for a temporary solution, and started using one of those ziploc snap n seal disposable containers. I'm using a round one that is about the size of a cereal bowl. It is absolutely great, except it holds no heat. Then by an accidental drop, I found it floats, so I now float it in my warm rinse water. It holds the heat excellently now, as my final pass lather is now warmer than my first. It well even float with my proraso/omega boar brush inside it.
The one i'm using is 14oz or 1.75 cups. They sell for less than a buck each, but come in multipacks.
