Grainy photos and my Friday stress levels

Just sealed a deal by email to by a big lot of razors, should be picking it up this afternoon and then I have to find a hiding place my wife won't look until I've had a chance to go through them :tongue_sm

Naturally, I've spent the whole morning trying to match grainy out of focus cellphone pictures of my score against Mr. Razor's ID pictures. I think I might be going blind, my squint muscles are aching and my monitor resolution is cranked as high as it can go. I've learned more about razor variants today than in the last 2 years combined!

I always like looking at photos of razors. Grainy or not (preferably not, but you take what you can get)
Do please post them!

I may have a solution for you. Just send them along to me and I'll be happy to hold them for you - indefinitely!

Can we see the grainy out of focus photos also?

If I post these before getting the box in hand, am I jinxing the whole deal?

This is the first batch, along with my best guesses so far....

Not bad, 13 razors for $60, huh? :w00t:

So, as far as I can see, the injector is a Schick J (might be an I, not sure yet)
The travel tech is actually is German no-name knockoff and the SE looks like a Gem Featherweight. As soon as I figure the rest out I'm posting a in the Score thread!

Everything is soaking in soapy water now, preparing for the cleanup.

The SE is likely a GEM "Heavy Flat Top", commonly referred to as a "G-Bar". I say likely because there was also an Ever-Ready branded version, but they are pretty rare.

, and I thought it was only me that had a hidey hole.

One of these days I am going to have to fess up as to my new hobby.

OK, here's the final recap of what I got.
No pictures, unfortunately, as the vultures swooped in and claimed a few of them as soon as I finished cleaning them up  I'll try to post some shots this weekend when I'm back home again :

Gem G
Schick J type (wife claimed already)
Fat handle Tech NDC
Gold ball end Tech NDC
Ball Handle New
New (does the regular handle one have a name?)
53 Superspeed
54 Flaretip
55 Bluetip
57 Flaretip
59 Redtip
71 Blackhandle Superspeed (birthday present given to my B-I-L)
No-name German travel tech clone

I think I'm going to work through them in date order, starting with the New's and working up through the decades.

The non-ball end New I've heard referred to as a fat handle or a bar handle I believe. It's the same model as mine, a superb shaver.
