I've sent off for this Scuttle tonight it's not one of the big three (George/Moss/Dirty) but it looks pretty nice and the price was right $18 When I get it I might be pif'ing my red poorman's/bobe scuttle as I've received a couple of pif's and would like to make someone's shaving experience a little bit better.

It's a great looking scuttle, but for some reason it reminds me of a pack of Old English Sheepdogs meeting a pack of Dalmations.

That is a slick lookin' scuttle. Where'd you find it? I've been using a little miniature electric crock pot thing and without an exact fit inner bowl, it get's a bit messy. But it was something I had lying around the house not being used and I could't see the high dollars for a Moss, etc. brand. $18 is right up my alley. Hows about doing a little mini review after you try it out?

Got it on e-bay rbecker13 is the seller he has two face shaving scuttles $15 and another large scuttle $20 for sale and he adds about one or two occasionally as he makes them.
There is sadness is the Bobe "poor man's scuttle" camp.

Do not dispare fans of my bobe scuttles, I hopefully will soon be pif'ing my red bobe scuttle, and my original poorman's scuttle will be kept as a face lathering and travel scuttle.

I ordered the Scuttle on Sunday night and it was on my doorstep on Wednesday afternoon It looks quite nice in person and is a nice size for working, it has a somewhat smaller bowl than the Dirty Bird !.5- 4 inches across and 2 & 3/4 deep, straight sides flat bottom, so the bowl is neither too big nor is it cramped feeling. It made some ticking noises when I first filled it with 150 degree water, I don't know if that is normal but I whipped up the best lather I've ever made using just a small daub of C.O. Bigalow Cream (Proraso) my vulfix 2233 superbadger brush and the water remaining in the scuttle bowl after emptying. Needless to say I'm quite happy with it, and also I shaved with my new Feather Popular I just recieved today also, of which I'm also pleased with.
