Got my first "real" Straight razor.

I have been using a DE for years thanks to this site.
I evan dabbled in straight razors with the dovo disposibles, which are great for shaving chest hair.
two weeks ago I pulled the trigger and got my first Real straight, at TAOS, along with a strop.
my stropping technique will take time. Sofar the shaves ( all 2 of them) have been tough going.
I think my angle is not correct. what angle should i be using?

Its probably not really shave ready. That's the rep for stock edges from that store. What did you get? A TI or Dovo?

BTW the angle should be about a 15-20

That sound terrific I am happy for you. I don't own a T.I. but I do have a dovo, I love but ther are some great razors out there. You should list the type of razor you are familliar with wedge, hollow, double hollow, if you like them stiffer, and see if that company makes it. T.I makes all of them I believe they are all works of art.
