Goodfellas question

It appears that goodfellas only has two razors - the black and the chrome. Does anyone know if they are physically the same razor?

yes - the only difference is the plating on the head.

I have 2 black headed ones - mild but nice

I have a goodfella with the black head. The handle is small and it is a very mild razor. I can get a good close shave, but it takes an additional pass or two.

I purchased a bright chrome and a black chrome. They are nicely made with an eye to detail. My only reservation is that they are a bit on the mild side. All other things equal, while I can attain a BBS shave with some additional work and a Goodfella , it just doesn't last as long as a Pils or Merkur Barber Pole shave. That's using fresh Feathers in all instances.
So, if you are not cursed/blessed with a wiry, steel wool-like beard, the Goodfella is very pleasant. Its somewhat diminutive handle and weight are no impediment to a good shave and make it a convenient travel partner.

I can confirm that the two Goodfella razors are the same with a Different chrome finish.

I find the Tech to be more aggressive than the Goodfella. I also find the Goodfella's handle to be both a little short and a little thin.

NP, in fact I enjoy a Goodfella/Feather shave from time to time. Seems to provide a nice balance between mild and aggressive.
