Well, that was a hell of a ride. Lidstrom has officially retired, now the debates about greatest D man ever can get really heated. I have watched his whole career, it will be weird to see someone else with the C on a Wings sweater.

I'm a diehard Blackhawks fan and I can say without a doubt, he was a top 5 all-time D-man. First ballot HOF'er if there ever was one, hell, they could even shorten the wait for him and I wouldn't be upset!
