good lavender cream for women?

It occurred to me today that my wife might enjoy a lavender cream to use to shave her legs. Does anyone have any suggestions as to which one(s) might be best for that? Ideally I'd like one she could use brushless (just in case she's not ready to buy into this whole thing yet).

Thanks.

Whilst exploring mint shaving creams for my barber's husband, some suggested Tom's of Maine, Kiss My Face and Nancy Boy, which apparently, are designed to be brushless. I do not know if any has a lavender scent, but you might check. I do know that some have recommended the rose scents (brush type) for the ladies. In fact, I believe that AOS's rose is marketed to the ladies in particular.

I thought about rose, but I know she enjoys the scent of lavender bath soap (and, of course, I could use it in a pinch!).

If she would use a brush, the whole world of lavender creams opens up! And, I understand that ladies' brushes are manufactured.

Just opened up my email, and found drugstore.com is having a sale, including Kiss My Face Lavender and Shea Butter shaving cream - brushless, I believe.

+1 on Kiss My Face. Just used it this morning. It works very well with or without a brush and is very reasonably priced.

Look at the shopping section. I believe AoS is having a sale.

Thanks, I'll check it out.

I thought about AoS and D.R. Harris (who makes a great lavender soap by the way), but I wonder if any lavender creams are marketed toward women specifically. I see that AoS and I think T&H have rose creams marketed to women. I know it's only packaging, but I thought it it might be nice to get something she would not see me using.

I doubt any creams are marketed specifically towards women. After all, most women do not want to be bothered using a badger brush on their legs. Heck, I probably wouldn't if I had such a large area to shave.

I 'm wondering what possible difference their would be between a women's and a men's cream (other than scents)?
Awhile back, I picked up two AoS creams on sale (lavender and sandalwood) but have yet to try them. I did open one to peek and it seems to be more liquid than, say, a TOBS product. I really don't care about packaging, but they seem to use a tub that is designed to give the impression that you're getting more than you really are.

Guys, you've all mentioned great Lavender creams but most don't work that well brushless. For a no brush good shave I'd get her some Kiss My Face Lavender.

You may be right.

Looks like the AoS sale ended yesterday. Oh, well. I'll have to sign up for their e-mail list in case they have another one. It's the first time I've seen their shaving soap on sale.

This would be my recommendation as well. The good thing about it is that it's on the shelf where she can run by and get more at her convenience, and the price is less than all of the others mentioned above.

The best lavender cream is AoS, hands down.

I can think of several lavender creams I like better.

Per the OP, most soft shaving creams can be used brushless, even though their full potential won't be realized that way. The main ones have already been mentioned. I'd throw in a recommendation for Castle Forbes, but it doesn't work so well without a brush, imo.
