Hey blades,
I plan on ordering some samples in the next two months and wanted to know your favorite cheap cologne for example I like

Royal copenhagen
JOVAN musk 30$
Azzaro 40$
Curve
JOOP 40$

I reallllllly like musky/spicy/woods/oriental/fruity/citrus Anything except aqua-y and fresh or anythign generic like Calvin Klein obsession which is the most generic cologne in the world

5 off the top of my head.. because that's all that would fit...

Grey Flannel
Bowling Green
Animale Animale
Tabac edc
Jacomo de Jacomo Rouge

Stop by Bath and Body Works. They have a small, and I mean small, section of men's colognes that are all good deals and good quality. Here's a link.

They are running a buy 3 get 2 or buy 2 get 1 free deal right now. I like some of the ones they have, and none cost more than $30. 4 oz. of their cologne for $24, which is a great line, though not what I believe you are looking for, $20 for a 2.5 oz bottle of C.O. Bigelow which is another great brand, and $30 for a 3.4 oz bottle of some of their other stuff. For the value, I think my future cologne purchases are going to be there.

I love CO bigelow shave cram I will probably check them out when me and gf go to the mall to look at Xmas Stuff!

Wow I have never heard of that one. what class is it? Soapy/spicy/ etc etc

The link describes it better than I could but I will try.

It starts out a bit fresh but as it dries down it becomes more spicy and woody. It is a great scent.

I believe I paid only $14 for my bottle, and it is an edt so it does have some staying power.

+1 on the Bigelow colognes. I picked up TWO for $20 during one of their sales, Elixir White and Elixir Green, and both are pretty fantastic.

I noticed you got Jovan Musk. You need to try Jovan White Musk, too; found it for about $16 at K-Mart a while back. Great scent!

Here are some others:

Pino Silvestre
Old Spice (both P&G and Shulton)
Aspen
Grey Flannel
Guerlain Vetiver - Testers can be had for $30-40 online.
Tabac
Ogallala Bay Rum (any of them)

One more that easily fits within your budget, and I believe it also fits your preferences, at least it's not another "fresh" aquatic, and is different from the others on your list, is Vetiver de Puig. I'm wearing it today, and it's a great clean, straight forward Vetiver scent.

I would describe it as a barber shop scent. Very nice and classic.

[Re: YSL Rive Gauche]

Barbasol with subtle hints of awesome. It may also be laced with heroin or something else addictive.

The very first time I tried it I thought "Hrm...nice" but then later decided that I didn't need to smell like Barbasol and that was that. Except that it wasn't...some how it's got under my skin and I really like it. I really want to get my hands on a decant, and could also see myself buying a full bottle.

It's quite simple and unoffensive, but just a really, really nice scent. Usually available pretty cheaply, as well.
