What's new

Gonna try vaping, and it's all James' fault

I need to go back and read some here... But for the record, that'll teach you to blindly entre one of my threads

Friends dont let friends drip and drive, Im glad I have my atlantis as well as my new Plume Veil Clone, just for convenience, plus the coils are rebuildable

And I would ditch all my mods for a regulated Box mod like a vapor shark, hanna, or something along those lines which ill probably buy anyway

Well then my friend, let me return the favor LOL!!

I think I'm going to go the route of building my own box.

You can have a Hana clone for about $100, depending on what supplies you have, just buying the evolv chip. You can get it even cheaper with a clone chip. Or you can build your own box for about the same price.

I'm thinking about a DNA 40 build.

Check this guys channel out for some tips, builds, and prices.

Speaking from experience, spend some money on the button and the 510 connection. Cheap buttons don't last long, and a spring loaded 510 is worth the extra money. FatDaddy and Varitube are both good.

I'll definitely pick up a switch and 510. Thanks Luke

Does anyone know how long orders take for delivery from Fasttech? Is 3 weeks a good ballpark?

Also:
are the clone rda's and such at fasttech the same quality as the clones other places?

3 weeks if you're lucky.

If you aren't ordering batteries, I've heard that paying the extra few bucks for the expedited delivery makes a significant difference in shipping time.

Sometimes fasttech clones are the same quality, sometimes they aren't. Sometimes they're absolute trash. I've only ever ordered a set of batteries from fasttech, took close to two months to arrive. With all of the other sites available, I'd rather pay a bit more and not deal with them. http://www.angelcigs.com/ or http://101vape.com are wroth looking at.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with a Hammond box, Batt. sled, sourced buttons & 510 anyway. I like the idea of making it my own, and I have most all of the tools to make it. Assuming I can get all parts without them being out of stock, I'll stick to ordering stuff from the states.

Which Hammond box are you using? If you've got the tools to use one of the metal ones, it's worth it. I used a Hammond ABS box when I made mine so that I could use a Dremmel on it, not worth it.

I'm still in the planing stage. I don't even know all of the available sizes, or how I want to place things in the box although I have an idea, just don't know if it will work.

As far as tools, I rebuild and modify vintage/antique cars for a living. I have a lot at my disposal :)

Yeah, I'd say that you probably have all the tools that you would need then.

Oh yeah... I'd definitely say that you're good to go!

The Hammond 1590B and 1590G are the two commonly used sizes for a dual 18650 mod. 1590B is a bit larger and will give you room to fit a voltage reader inside if you want one.
