A little more about my exclusive use of vintage blades. Personna 74s for example. The prices they're listed at nowadays are for collectors, too pricey for use, but I'm disabled with lots of time on my hands so I've employed a strategy to purchase mine at a more reasonable rate. It requires time and patience. I keep an eye out for every offering, bid low on all of them and get lucky once every nine or ten bids. My last acquisition a gentleman had two offerings of twenty blades on that famous auction site. One was a buy now for $99.99, the other was a bidding that started at $9.99. I went for the auctioned offering and maybe no one saw it, or whatever reason, I got them for just over eleven dollars. The buy now for a hundred went a couple days later.
