Giovanni shave cream?

Anyone know how it performs? My local organic/health foods store has it, with KMF and some others that aren't very good performers. It's around $7, I believe.
Wanted more info.

The Giovanni shave cream I use is brushless, so I hope we are talking about the same thing.

I really use it as a pre-save treatment both in the shower and right before I lather up. As a pre-shave, it is unequaled - and I've tried a bunch. It softens your skin and beard hairs, the nutrients in it clearly help my skin, and makes for a smoother, closer and more comfortable shave. Best thing is that I can use really strongly scented creams with it, irritation free (i.e., T&H Grafton normally burns my skin, but if I use Giovanni as a preshave first, it completely protects my skin - I love it).

I actually just used it as a brushless shave cream for the first time this morning because I woke up late. It was most excellent - better than Cremo Cream for my skin, believe it or not! (even Cremo gives my skin slight irritation due to the high chemical content).

The best thing about Giovanni? 7 bucks and equal or better performance than pre-shaves costing 4 times as much (e.g., TOBS Shave Gel, T&H preshave oil).

I just tried this brand this morning (Pink Grapefruit & Pomegranate). I picked it up at Whole Foods for ~7-8 USD. I was in a rush this morning so I went with the Mach 3 instead of my DE safety razor. Tried it with a brush but it did not appear possible to generate a lather. I then rubbed it directly into my beard, still no lather, but it was very slick and allowed for an irritation free shave. It worked very well with the Mach 3 so I would recommend it for this scenario. I will try it with my DE safety razor next and report back.

I tried it again last night with my DE safety razor and it worked very well. I had one of my best shaves to date since I started wet shaving 3 months ago. This stuff is very slick and provides a lot of glide. You do need to reapply between passes. I probably used slightly more product than I otherwise would with your typical lathering shaving cream. I rinsed between passes to help spread the product on. I did have a few weepers on my chin but that is because I became over confident. The shave was going so well that my ambition exceeded my skill towards the end. I give it 2 thumbs up. I double checked the price at Whole Foods in Framingham, MA last night. It was 6.99.
