Gillette Thin Blades, any idea of value? Anyone looking for these?

I recently found a Gillette blue tip superspeed at an antique shop. It works really well. I have a blade question though. The shop has antique 4 packs of Thin Gillette Blades (as seen here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Package-of-...391?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3cc53423f7 ). The blades have a W 4 on them, which I think means they are from 1951. Anyway, they are in their 4 pack boxes with plastic wrap. Some of the wrap has cracked open but they have never been out of the package.

The lady sent one 4 pack box with me, which I tried, but didn't care too much for. I have pretty sensitive skin and have become spoiled to feathers. They were O.K. but my skin is ridiculously sensitive. The blades appear new with no rust or anything on them. It's pretty amazing they are still good 60 years later.

Does anyone have any idea what these are worth? I feel like I should buy them and put them for sale on here for others to get some good out of since I won't be using them. I don't really care to make a profit, just want to pay a reasonable price and not get "took" on them. Is there enough people wanting these to make it worth getting?

A guess would be there are 20 packs there.

Well let me offer my view point. They would be of little value as there are many variety of thin blades to be had. Two that comes to mind are the Singapore & Brazilian thins. So having said that figure. 10-12 cents a blade. Good luck.

O.K. thanks for the info. She wants $4 a pack for them, so in other words, it's a ripoff. As an antique curiosity its o.k. I suppose.

I tried a vintage Gillette Thin not long ago, and found it very enjoyable and long-lasting (6 shaves). Among the old carbon-steel varieties, this was a good one for me. I have a small stack of packs, and I'm not looking for any more. I certainly wouldn't pay half her asking price, even if I were.
