Gillette Super Speed Blue Tip - Anyone know how to clean/restore this?

Hi all...not sure if I am posting in the right thread, but hope so.

I just recently got a blue tip Gillette Super Speed with the C-2 date marking. I bought it from my friend. However after cleaning in warm water and soap, and then using 70% isopropyl alcohol, I noticed the following spots or marks at the end of the handle. See pictures:

Anyone know what they are and how to get rid of them. I don't believe it's water spots or corrosion. Aren't the handles aluminum? Will Flitz work?

Thanks

Some sort of metal polish and a microfibre cloth should take those spots off no problem.

Yes, thanks 77TransAm. I had some Flitz and used a microfibre cloth. After two passes here is the result:

I still have to do a little more polishing to touch up some areas and get it just right.
