gillette 7oclocks no longer made?

I contacted Gillette a few days ago asking about why the 7oclock blades were not sold in America while the overpriced garbage ones were. Their response was:

"Thanks for contacting Gillette, Robert.

I'm sorry to disappoint you, but we no longer make the 7 O'Clock Series blades. We still manufacture one version of double edge blade that is available online. Please click on the link below for more details."

Hmmmm, any further info?

They mean that there is only one officially distributed blade in North America... the 7 o'clocks are aimed at "Greater India", Russia and the former Soviet Bloc and Asia - anything that you get into the US would be a parallel/grey import.
