i've got one lined up to use. I'll post here when I do. I've had good luck with a few Gillette blades so I hope it's good.
Yes they are very good. I find these to be sharper than an astra platinum blade and smoother than a yellow Gillette 7 o'clock sharpedge. They work great for me in a slim adjustable with a setting around 6.
I bought a 100 of these a couple of years ago. They are very nice, sharp and smooth in my de89. They are similar to the Astra SP but seem sharper as Obi Wan said.
Tell me these blades are still in production....?
First use tonight was pretty darn good. Comparable to a Feather.
I started with a vintage Pal...one of these:
Three strokes and it was rough, pulling, tugging..no dice.
Swapped it out with a Gillette Platinum and boom like butter.
It still amazes me how some blades are manufactured waaaaay better than others.

They are very good blades!!!
I can't seem to convert that currency (Romanian right?) How much is a pack of 5 in USD, and does that site sell them bulk packs of $100? Thanks.

I have 100 of those and call them Gillette Silver Platinum. I can't distinguish their performance from Astra SS. To me, they are very smooth but not very sharp, and last 3 shaves which is just average compared to 4-5 shaves with Astra SP, 5 with Silver Blue, 5-6 with Platinum Blues and Blacks, 6-7 with SI.
Too confusing to call them that in my book - They mainly go by 'Gillette Dark Platinum' around these parts. This is to distinguish them against the 'White Platinums' and the 'Silver Blues'.
