GFT Skin Food - pre or post shave?

I have a couple of samples of this, and wasn't too impressed with them as a post-shave product. They left my skin feeling very well conditioned but didn't soothe like my other ASBs.

Reading some more, especially on GFT's website, they recommend skin food be used as a pre-shave.

I only have the Proraso white pre-shave cream currently, but I'll give this a try with my next shave - anybody else use it?

I've used it as both. I don't particularly see much a difference in the shave itself when I use it as a pre, but combining it as a pre and post in the same shave results in my face being very well hydrated and moisturized. YMMV.
Having said that, I don't often use it as a pre-shave, but Trumpers does recommend it as they dont make a seperate pre-shave product.

Tried both ways - I had high hopes and although the lime smells good enough to drink, it leaves my face feeling tacky and just plain weird (needless to say, ymmv).
