Just a few days ago I shaved with my Gem Junior w/ baton handle, journal post here. If I had to choose only one GEM style razor, it would likely be this one...or the GEM Junior Bar. While it sounds like you are sold on the 1924, I wouldn't be surprised if you equally enjoy the GEM Junior.
