From Buf-Pufs sponges to Salux cloths

For years I've used Buf-Puf sponges in the shower for my face and neck. After seeing the Salux cloths I'd thought I'd give them a go and have just placed an order. (http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?t=55496)

I've been using the Salux for 15 years! You will like it!

I fold it into fourths for general body scrubbing with body gel. Then I unroll it to wash the back.

What ever you do, DO NOT floss the crotch, haha.

You will like it. If you've been using a wash cloth, it will probably feel pretty harsh at first, but you will definitely know you are getting clean.

Wow. Very timely thread. I was having a moan in a thread last night about loufas and sponges not making you feel clean after using them. I've just jumped onto eBay and bought two so I'll be very interested to see what they are like.

Cheapest I found anywhere, including Amazon and Saluxcloth itself, was this seller on the Bay: 4 pack Salux cloths for $3.58 shipped each. I had some Bay Bucks so I ended up getting them @ $2.65 shipped. Good communication from seller right after purchase confirming my color preferences and this morning with shipping info.

Thanks for this post! I just used my Salux this am, and man what a great product. Really does a good job removing those barnacles.

Don't know about any "barnacles" on this ol' navy man, but my 4 pack arrived this afternoon. A salux will get a work out in the morning

Addendum: Larger than I though despite the dimensions given...duh. Very different feel from the rough green layer on the Buf-Buf but seems to leave the skin feeling much the same way. Works for me

I'm now also a Salux cloth convert. I used it this morning lathered up with a bar of Imperial Leather soap and there was more lather than I could believe. Wonderful. I felt so clean. I'll certainly be ditching my cloth covered sponge.
