I'm very happy to say that my Semogue 2011 LE FBristle 1 is pretty much broken in. The center of the knot still has not fully splayed meaning its not a 100% broken in. Those LE bristle are quite soft but efficiently exfoliate your skin while applying the lather in circular and paint brush motions. Its one of my favorite shaving brushes with a knot so damn dense. It really does take time and patience to enjoy a shaving brush to its full potential! Also Jabonman SC/SS is but amazing. Post shave feeling and scent of the Violetas is just awesome. For scents I rank it in the top for me. Well Gentleman Happy Shaving & mostly Have a Great Day!

I've always wondered why people say to use boar brushes with italian soft soaps and now I think I understand why. My theory is that there is more gap between the bristles of a boar brush and a boar brush splays to a greater degree than a badger which tends to suck up lather to the base of the brush after the first or second pass (especially a larger brush) because of how dense the bristles are packed on a badger brush.
Anyway it was an awesome shave, I really like the scent of the KLL and the blade was smooth giving me a near BBS shave. The as wax was the finishing touch of this DFS.

I'll have to bowl lather this stuff next time. It'd been too long since I'd last used it, and tried to face lather. It kept getting too wet and runny. I was interrupted by a long phone call and then came back do do my 4th pass.
