Not sure where to pub this - Frags or here, but since the Veg gets a lot of thumbs up and down here, I thought I'd post the question. When you choose an aftershave or cologne or other scent, do you choose it primarily because it pleases you or because you want to please those around you? Do you frequently wear the Veg because you like it event though SWMBO/significant other hates it. Do you wear Aqua Velva because the office coworkers love it even though you can't stand it? Inquiring minds want to know.

I think, bottom line- we wear what WE like. Unless we get such a negative reaction that it would be foolhardy to wear the scent.
I wear what I like, unless my wife doesn't. Then I try something else.
I'm single so I wear fragrances/aftershaves, etc. for myself.
Bachelor here so everything I do, I do for me. There's not much out there that I've smelled that I find truly objectionable. I think alot of the reactions people post on frags are just to get some giggles from the boards.
Since I smell whatever I'm wearing all day long, I pick what I like to wear.
I wear what I like. But if there is a particular scent my fiancée hates then I get rid of it, there are enough others I like that she likes too.
Out of my 175 perfumes my wife doesn't like two. So I wear those to work or when I'm out socializing.

I wear what smells good to me, unless SWMBO really hates it 
I wear it for me. If SWMBO likes it, good. If she doesn't she'll get used to it.
I wear what I like during the week and what my wife likes on the weekend. In other words, cheap during the week and expensive on weekends for the most part.
It depends what I'm doing. The majority of the days, I'll wear whatever I want but if I'll be around some ladies I want to impress (don't worry, I'm single lol) I'll wear something a little more modern or well-liked. Rive Gauche is what I wear most days, but I try to wear something lighter and more modern if the latter situation occurs. I love wearing fougere's and other older smelling frags so much, just because I never smell anything other than aquatics every single day. Some frags like the old Avon stuff I tend to stay away from because they smell just a little to old-fashioned for me.
I wear what I like, that's it. If others don't like it, they know what they can do.

Nope, but if you are a lucky Canadian, you can get some Domino's pizza scented cologne. Might attract some skinny, hungry girls.
I use THE VEG when ever I want. I think that pretty much sums up my attitude
