Recently, I was reading Chimensch's 30th Anniversary thread, and someone made a comment to the effect of "I've watched it countless times, but I still learn from it." Well I watched the video yesterday, and noticed something he does when making his first pass. He goes cross-handed for his first set of N-S strokes, and has an essentially unobstructed view of his sideburn. I'm a left-hand/left-side-of-face, right-hand/right-side-of-face shaver, so I always have a bit of a problem getting my sideburns perfectly horizontal on the first try due to obstructed vision. I gave Chimensch's approach a try today, and it was easy as could be. So if anyone is having these same issues, perhaps consider giving this a go next time. Not sure why it didn't occur to me to try it like this before, but hey...
