I was thinking, "Toss it," but re-using the handle makes much more sense. If you are not so inclined, trade or PIF the handle.

I've definitely thought about re-knotting it. I've never done that before but it would make for a cool project, and probably the cheapest super silvertip badger brush ever.

Until then, perhaps I'll try using this to shave on "Floppy Fridays"

I'd recommend setting the loft no higher than ~47mm, my TGN Super @50mm had the same flop your current knot displays. I hope you can set it deep enough in that handle, next time stick with a TGN short loft Best or Finest XD bulb.

The Vulfix 2235S is also very soft but I really like using it. Makes a wonderful lather and heaven on the face. You can adapt to most brushes. Just my two penneth.

While you wait for the new knot to arrive, just put a few elastic bands over the base of the old knot to make it temporarily have more backbone.
