Is there any point in flipping a DE blade after each use?

Think of your razor as if it were a kitchen knife. Both edges cut at the same time so no there is no advantage to flipping the blade.

There is absolutely no benefit, as mentioned above, there is only one edge per side of the blade, so regardless of which way you flip the blade you still have the same two edges. All you are doing by flipping the blade, is greatly increasing your chance of getting cut by the blade.

I rotate the blade in my razor 180° after each pass. I've found that this gives the best shave possible, and I can get over 30 shaves with a blade this way.

Also, if you filter Aqua Velva through a Brita filter, it's the same as Floid Blue!
