first shave with speick shave stick

I'm at the in-laws in San Francisco for a week which allows me to escape the hard-water confines of San Diego. I'm doing 2-pass, WTG shaves each day so I can try out a bunch of different soaps that I can't use at home.

Today I tried my Speick shave stick for the first time. I have the cream in my rotation at home and like it. Wow, what an awesome, slick lather! I probably needed more soap as my lather wasn't as thick as I wanted, but man was it slick. When I rinsed off after the first pass I was suprised how slippery and moist my face felt. It was my first use of a tallow soap and I can see what all the hubub is about.

Rub it on your face for a good minute or so, then after that, load the brush up on the stick a little. You'll have plenty of thick creamy lather.
