First shave with NEW short comb

Shaved this morning for the first time with a NEW short comb and got a great shave. I now know what all the fuss is about. Very smooth, not too aggressive, comfortable close shave. Loaded with an Astra SP and used Proraso blue cream. I have found a keeper.

If you have been toying with trying one of these, please do. It is an excellent razor.

Glad to hear you like the shave with that NEW SC so much. It really is smooth and efficient. You owe it to yourself to try the LC too and then one of the English LC models. I have been shaving with a raised flat bottom English LC all week, and it is efficient like the American LC, but smoother than the American SC. Amazing.

Anyhow, get used to that razor and enjoy the shaves. If the American SC was the only thing available I could be very happy with it for a long time. Also, don't you know that pictures of your new razor are required, or your membership can be suspended? Pictures are critical to being a good member of this community!

I don't use my SC much these days, but it remains a favorite. It is just soooo smooth and comfortable. It is the razor equivalent of spaghetti and meatballs. Comfort-razor.

Or grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup. Or Menudo. Or head cheese....depending on where you are from and what "comforts you".
