I have never read much about the English NEW on this forum, maybe they are just not popular. Anyway, I had my first shave with one this morning, and it was quite nice. The baseplate is exactly the same as a Tech, except that it has slots cut into it, to make it open comb. It is a bit more aggressive than the regular US NEW, but its ok. The handle is quite slim, which is something to get used to, but overall it was quite nice. It will remain to be seen how well it performs as a regular shaver, but so far I really enjoy it.
First shave with English NEW - pretty good.
