First Shave w/Gem Featherweight

I recently acquired a Gem Feather Weight from an estate sale along with a 1956 Super Speed for $3. I've never shaved with a single edge so I picked up some blades today (Gem Pal) and gave it a go. I was quite surprised by it. I normally stick with the DE razors but I will be rotating this one in on a regular basis from now on.

Waiting to get one in the mail within the next few days. Grabbed on ebay for 3 bucks with shipping.I just acquired the micromatic and I like it so much I found a whole new outlet for my RAD with SE razors

I've used mine twice this week. They take some getting used to but can give wonderfully close and smooth shaves.

I was a little leary at first when using what I regarded as a paint scraper bade, but, I found it to be quite easy to shave with.
