First Shave A2S

Today I used my new Dscosmetics A2S synthetic brush, bought from Aliexpress for £18.

I have in the past used badger, horse and boar brushes.

My previous brush was a Yaqi Mysterious Space synthetic that I have used for around 4 years.

I face lather using Proraso green, the AS2 feels so much softer, less scratch than the Yaqi, its not badger soft but not far off it.

It creates a thicker lather quicker than the Yaqi, the AS2 isn't as stiff as the Yaqi perhaps it would have been a better soap brush.

I can only say that for £18 the AS2 is a cracking little brush, perhaps better suited for face lathering.

"Thicker lather quicker" is interesting.

I myself find a lot of synthetic brushes don't reach that dense, rich and creamy stage for a long time.
The more premium synth fibres tend to reach there much faster.

They advertise the brush for face lathering, it's a very different brush to the Yaqi.
I was going to purchase a G7 or T4 brush before I saw the A2S.
