First Roses of the Season

Susan has a fantastic rose garden that keeps us and the neighbors in beautiful flowers from early summer to late fall.

These are the first of the year. We are going to be covered up by the end of the week!

Thanks guys. There's also a koi pond and a stream crammed into the yard. We really enjoy it all. I'm away from home this weekend but i'll take a shot and post that image when i return. Here's another shot taken closer to the deck, just below the image of the roses.

Ah Lovely.

I seem to have neglected trimming back some of my roses and guess what... I have green way way over my head. . . . I'll post some pics as the blooms come.

My juvenile roses have had a few blooms already. The roses were small to medium sized. Perhaps next season they will have large blooms.
