First order from West Coast Shaving

Hi All,

Just thought I'd share my first order from West Coast Shaving. It's a small order but they shipped quickly and packed everything up nicely. I was just going to get the B&B brush (based on recommendations from another thread) but when I saw the mug, I had to get that too. Oh, and they have Osage that I wanted to try but can't find locally so I got that as well. The smell reminds me of mouth wash for some reason. Just splashed some on and I like.

Just placed my first order yesterday. Got a sampling of some blades. A few hours later I decided I wanted an alum stick too. The online support was great. Using that little pop-up chat window, they held my first order until I placed my second one, then they packed and shipped them all together. Should arrive Thursday.

Very colorful line up you got there. I looooove Osage as well as my B&B Essentials. It's on the same level as my 620 IMO and prefer them over my TGN Finest. Nice pickup!

They will make drawings on the outside of your box/envelop if you ask for one in the comments of your order.

There is a thread around here someplace "The Art of West Coast Shaving" where people have scanned and shared their art.

And yes, I'm always looking for an excuse to order from them as well...

WCS and IB are probably my two favorite vendors. Excellent service and fast shipping.

Glad to see more Osage fans, I don't think that it gets enough love around here. I splash some of it on immediately after every shave. Great feeling and the smell disappears quickly, so I can use whatever fragrance I like.

Osage Rub primarily is for the scalp, but it works fine as an aftershave too. It does pack a strong feeling. It's an item for "real men."

Used the Osage as an AS for the first time this morning and all I can say is WOW!!! A great attention getter first thing in the morning. A nice chill and a nice smell. Rubbed some onto my scalp but really didn't notice anything but my face loves it.

I used the brush for the first time today as well and I love it. I thought going with silver tip badger was the way to to go based on reviews but after using this brush, I may not go back. I used it on a sample of Mystic Water and the brush loaded quickly and then I started to bowl lather. It took me 3-4 minutes but I got the best lather to day. I still want it thicker but the lather definitely provided more cushion/glide compared to when I was using the badger.


Ok, I'm now on the look out for more B&B Essential brushes. I want to collect all the colors as well.
