First Fat Boy for me!!!

Alright, so I apologize if I sniped this from any of you, but I just scored my first Fat Boy on the 'bay. I found it described as "vintage gillette shavers...one adjustable and one regular" I put in a bid with 10 seconds to go and won...with my maximum bid...by $0.75. And another super speed to boot. Got them both with shipping for $41.00. I can't wait to get out the cleaner and polish when it gets here. Woo hoo!!!

i got a FB, black slim, New, SS, and three injectors a few weeks ago for $24 shipped

there are deals to be found on the bay if you are patient.

Thanks, I figured I could get a better deal if I waited longer, but I'm a little impatient. The picture on this auction was way too obvious for anyone looking for a fat boy, but I'm happy with it, especially since the case is with it.

Congrats. Good luck with them. I'm not a big fatboy fan, but I do like those 40's style SS. Some general cleaning tips here and here. I know there are other threads specifically for cleaning fatboys.

it is a fine razor, and it is going to be awesome when you shine it up, make sure to post pictures!!

now that you have it, you can be a little more patient now maybe.

i have purchased about 30-35 razors over the past 4-5 weeks, and resold most on ebay, i find it easier now to try and wait for an awesome deal before i buy. of course, my rotation is down to 6 now, time for some more!

you are gonna love that Fatboy, it is hands down my favorite razor. my Aristocrat is #2

I was watching that set on Ebay and wondering if it was a couple B&B members slugging it out. $20 each for a cased Fat Boy and a 40's SS is a nice score.
