First blind buy in a while.

I had been doing a good job of avoiding blind buying over the past handful of months, but my weakness was exposed today. I snagged a bottle of Pure Malt off FragranceNet for $65.

Alright, so what can I expect? How much different is it than A*Men or Pure Havane? I didn't think I liked A*Men very much before, but my tastes have developed a bit over the past year or so. The last few times I have sniffed it, I started to like it more and more. I thought I might pick up a bottle of it this fall. With Pure Malt being re-released, I didn't want to miss out if it goes back into hiding.

I like Pure Havane out of the three you mentioned. If you liked A men, you will definitely like Pure malt. The opening is pretty much identical.
I strongly advice you to try Pure Havane if you get a chance. Its one of a kind.

I've smelled Pure Havane on paper a couple of times. I liked it. Wasn't blown away though. I already have a couple of tobacco fragrances, so didn't feel a strong pull to buy it.
